We will be similar items to these in the pictures for when we record the band. The reason behind choosing all black is because Pendulum wear all black too - this is the band we are creating a music video for. Although we decided to change our song, we believe the choice in clothing will still be feasable for the Firestarter music video, and there will only be a few moderate changes need be.

Music video pitch

After a discussion and comparison of each others song choice and pitches, we have decided to use Pendulum - Watercolour. The music video will include studio based band production with lighting effects and abstract, weird scenes. We will also be using footage from websites such as youtube to add to the abstract effect of our video. An example of using the lighting would be the introduction of the song which starts with a heavy bass/energy boom before the vocals start - we used a beam of red and white light to blind the camera face on. Combined with band/instruments in the studio and abstract/outside studio footage we will have a compilation of various lighting and colours to interest the viewer.

The video we will be placing an effect over and editing will be The Invention of Love (2012) animation footage on youtube to combine with our black and white studio footage.

Initial song choice

Here is the song we are using to make our music video. We have decided as a group to use this as a music video because we all really like the style of it and we feel we could recreate our own piece by the using the ideas we have. As a group, we found the video very inspirational and already have some really good ideas in mind.

After a group discussion we have decided to change our video plan and song to Pendulum - Watercolour. The reason for doing this is because we know that Lip syncing is a recognised skill and if we did an abstract video for Noisia, it would've involved a lot of edits to make the video flow and would also require a lot more filming as we wouldn't have the band displayed to lip sync.
